Cooking/Meal Preparation

Game Playing Pieces_edited.jpg

Cooking is about trying new things and creating something you want to eat. There are so many shared recipes on social media, I encourage you to try making some! I have included three recipes that are really simple and customizable from Gordon Ramsay. Don't be afraid to season your foods with more than just salt and pepper!

Ensure that you are being safe about prepping your foods. Wash your vegetables and fruits before cutting or eating. When cooking meats, check with a meat thermometer that they are in a safe internal temperate, it is different for each type of meat. If you are meal prepping, label your food so you know when it expires (generally 3-5 days in the refrigerator)

GROCERIES

A good rule of thumb is 6 to 1 while grocery shopping:

6 Vegetables

5 Fruits
